Donate to the ReStore
Please note that the Frederick ReStore is currently closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We hope to resume normal operations as soon as possible, but will abide by all state and federal guidelines for preventative measures to keep our volunteers, shoppers, donors and staff healthy and safe. This closure is severely detrimental to the work of Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, as the ReStore is a primary source of operational income. To make a donation to Habitat to offset this loss, please click here. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.
The ReStore gratefully accepts donations of building materials and home goods from the public, which can be sold in our store to generate funds in support of the work of Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County.
Because we will be re-selling the items you donate to the ReStore, we kindly ask that donated items be clean and in good condition. We cannot accept items that have stains, odors, pet hair, holes or are broken in any way.
There are two ways to donate goods to the ReStore:
1Drop it off!
When you arrive at the ReStore located at 917 N East Street, drive around to the back of the building where our loading dock is clearly marked. Our volunteers will help you unload your items and give you a receipt for your donation. Please do not leave donated items before or after hours.
Donation drop-off hours:
Monday: 11:30am – 3:30pm
Tuesday – Saturday: 9:30am – 4:30pm
2Have us pick it up!
We can pick up large items within Frederick County. Please clearly mark donations for Habitat for Humanity and have them easily accessible on the first floor, in a garage or on a porch so our staff and volunteers can easily load them onto the truck.
To see if your items are eligible for pick-up and schedule a time, please contact Sondra Humphrey at 301-662-2988 x4 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include a description and pictures of the items you wish to have picked up.
