Frederick---East Frederick Self Storage will hold a yard sale on Saturday, April 19, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County's Women Build project.

It's official! The 2008 Habitat Annual Dinner is sold out, a month before the February 23 event.

A special thanks goes out to the hardworking volunteers and supportive community that made this happen. Your support is really appreciated.

So if you have a ticket, start getting ready for a fun night of music, food, and auctions, all for a great cause. And, if you waited too long to get your tickets, check back later this year for information on the 2009 Annual Dinner.

Frederick---Frederick County churches recently donated nearly $6,000 to help Habitat’s affordable housing mission. This support includes regular contributions, donations of individuals who took part in Alternative Giving Fairs the churches sponsored and church members who volunteer to help build affordable housing for Frederick County families in need.

Frederick---Habitat for Humanity of Frederick plans to build or renovate 11 houses before the end of 2008. Because there will be so many Habitat building projects going on at the same time, Habitat is mounting a “Tools for Habitat” campaign.
