Since its inception in 1993, Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County has partnered with local families, churches, businesses, donors, and volunteers to help 25 families achieve their dream of homeownership in Frederick. In the fall of 1995, Habitat dedicated its first home on South Bentz Street in Frederick. Eleven years later, in December 2006, a family moved into their new home in Thurmont, the 25th Habitat home built in Frederick County. Click here to learn more about each of the homes, including the hardworking volunteers, generous sponsors and donors, and churches that have made these homes possible.
