Dream Teams are a way to help our cor­porate and business partners experience hands-on team building while supporting Habitat of Frederick's mission and work.

Teams work together at a Habitat home site to develop team skills while actually helping build a home or a shed for our partner families. Team members are challenged to be as productive and as accountable as possible in promoting the highest level of team productivity.

The program provides an opportunity to reinforce values that matter most in the workplace: working to­gether to make communities, work teams, and workplaces stronger. At the worksite, team members have a realistic hands-on experience of the importance of leadership and teamwork within the non-typical environment of a Habitat building site. To ensure a safe and productive work environ­ment, we limit participation to 15 team mem­bers.

The fee for the one-day Dream Team session includes a Dream Team shirt and break-time refreshments. The fee also includes a Team Leadership Lunch. Participating organizations may deduct a portion of the one-day fee as a tax-deductible contribution to Habitat for Humanity.
