Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County is participating in Cars for Homes™, Habitat for Humanity’s official car donation program.

Cars for Homes™ vehicle donation program provides an easy and convenient way individuals or groups can help break the cycle of poverty and homelessness by donating a car. When you make a vehicle donation, the net proceeds come back to Habitat of Frederick to help families within our community.

You can donate a car, truck, boat, RV, motorcycle or other automobile to raise funds and assist us in our affordable housing ministry. You can learn more about this program administered by Habitat for Humanity International by clicking here or calling 1-877-277-4344 toll free.

Your vehicle donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize on your tax return. Consult your tax adviser or the Internal Revenue Service to determine deductibility of the car donation.

Cars for Homes™ accepts most whole vehicles that have proper title information. The donated vehicle need not run but you will need to explain its condition. Should the cost of transporting and repairing the vehicle exceed its auction value, we cannot accept the car donation.
