Kenny Ray is the lead singer/MC/rhythm guitar player with the U.S. Navy’s ‘Country Current’ -country/bluegrass group.  In addition to his singing, he contributes original songs, utilizes his extensive knowledge of new and obscure songs, and arranges much of the units repertoire.  These keen abilities have placed him in the honorable position as the group's Musical Director. 

A song he had penned with co-writer, John Barlow Jarvis, called "A Soldiers King", was picked up by Kenny Rogers.  It later became an R.I.A.A. Certified Gold Record and is still on the move towards Platinum.
