Habitat's Annual Dinner is Announced |
|
Frederick--- Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County’s annual dinner has been scheduled for November 7th at the William R. Talley Recreation Center, located at 121 North Bentz Street in downtown Frederick. VIEW INVITATION.
Doors will open at 5:30PM for previewing auction items, and the event will run from 6PM until 11PM. Back by popular demand, the New Monopoly will return as the entertainment, and silent and live auction items will be available for bidding.
The dress code will be “island style” this year, so wear your floral shirts, dresses and sandals, and join the party! Come out and enjoy an evening of great food, entertainment, and socializing while supporting your community by promoting affordable housing. Tickets cost $60 per person, and are available by calling the Habitat office at 301.698.2449 or by visiting the Restore located at 1109 East Patrick Street. Since 1993, 29 families have been welcomed into their new homes in Frederick County by Habitat, most of which are single parents. As the economy and unemployment continue to challenge our Country, it is even more critical than ever that we provide affordable housing alternatives for those who need it the most. |
