Our greatest challenges include raising money and securing land to build homes in Frederick County. We rely totally on donations of cash and assistance with land acquisition to carry out our mission to provide affordable housing to Frederick families in need.

A donation of $25 helps buy needed building materials. $100,000 helps pay for the land and all building costs for a new Habitat family home. And every amount in between makes a difference.

Donations of money may be the most direct way for you, your church or your business to support Habitat's efforts in Frederick. Donations may be made in a variety of ways, including check and credit card. Click here for more information.

Donations of land are most welcome. We accept the full or partial land donations, and in some cases, we will purchase the land. More information is available in the Donate Land section of this Web site.

We gladly accept donations of most new building materials and tools. Donations must coincide with the appropriate home building phase since we do not have a place to store materials. Click here to learn more about donating building materials and tools.

We also have other programs for contributors to select.

Make a general donation to the Catoctin Challenge, the annual cycling event that raises funds for Habitat. Or sponsor one of the dedicated participants.

Join the Habitat Square Foot Club and fund one square foot of a new Habitat home for just $136. That's the estimated cost per-square foot of new construction in Frederick County!

We have several other programs that allow you to donate to support our work.

• Purchase merchandise or tickets to events through our E-Store

• Sponsor corporate Dream Team Training that provides hands-on, team-building sessions

• Donate cars, trucks, boats, RVs, motorcycles or other motorized vehicles through Cars for Homes, run by Habitat International, and 100 percent of the proceeds come back to Habitat of Frederick
