August 26          Bruster's Ice Cream Fundraiser

Beat the August heat!   Gather your family, friends and neighbors and meet us for some delicious ice cream from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.

October 24 - October 30     Mission Trip - Mississippi Gulf Coast

We have 75 volunteer slots reserved at the Waveland/Bay St. Lous, Mississippi Habitat affiliate for our fall trip.   This will be our 3rd trip to this particular area, which is where Hurricane Katrina first hit landfall in August, 2005.  Waveland lost 70% of it's structures, including homes, Churches and businesses.   After all this time, it is still only 20 rebuilt. 

For our Spring 2010 trip, we started with two concrete slabs on Monday morning, and by Friday afternoon, we had completed 2 brand new homes.  It was incredibly productive!

November 13                        5K Run/Walk   "There's no place like home"

Dorothy isn't the only one that realizes that "there's no place like home".  So click your heels together and tie up your laces for the 1st Annual Habitat for Humanity 5k - There's No Place Like Home Run/Walk, sponsored by Edward Jones Investments.

This family friendly fundraiser will take place on November 13th, 2010, start time is 8:30 am, at The Talley Rec Center, in Frederick, MD.  Don't be surprised to find a few flying monkeys and a Wizard on hand to encourage the racers.  This is a great event not to be missed.
