Women Build Holiday Bazaar |

Habitat for Humanity of Frederick’s Women Build volunteers will hold a shopping bazaar at the Frederick Towne Mall on Sunday, November 16. It will occur from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the open area next to Boscov’s mall entrance. The proceeds will benefit Frederick’s Women Build program. |

Middletown Churches to Sponsor Benefit Concert for Habitat |

Six churches in the Middletown Valley will co-sponsor a benefit concert to raise money for two Habitat for Humanity homes in their area. The concert will take place Saturday, October 25 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, 12 S. Church St., Middletown. |

We Can Recycling Program Reaches Milestone |
|
Habitat for Humanity’s We Can recycling program has reached a milestone. As of mid-September, the aluminum can recycling effort had collected and redeemed nearly three-quarters of a ton of cans. The funds will help support a future Habitat multi-faith building project. |

A New Executive Director is Announced |

Habitat for Humanity Board President Lin Caywood has announced the selection of Ron Cramer of Adamstown, Maryland as Habitat’s new executive director effective immediately. He has been actively involved with Habitat for many years, serving on the Habitat Board of Directors both as vice president and president. He has chaired the Public Relations Committee and earlier this year he joined the staff as manager of Habitat's ReStore. |
