A Brush with Kindness is about connecting people and restoring homes through simple
acts of kindness so that homeowners can once again live in a safe and decent home.
A Brush with Kindness (ABWK) is a neighborhood revitalization program where volunteers from neighborhood groups, businesses, churches and community agencies provide exterior work for low income homeowners who are challenged by age, disability, or circumstance. ABWK brings resources, volunteers, and homeowners together to paint, landscape, perform minor repairs and general cleanup of the exterior of their homes.
A Brush with Kindness ensures that families live in safe and well-maintained homes. The program is designed to revitalize the appearance of the neighborhood, encourage connections within the community, and most importantly, help preserve affordable housing stock.
